DealerRater In-store Review Solicitation Tool

Some consumers, and dealers, choose to begin the review process as soon as possible after the dealership experience.  To accommodate this process, we have a tool that assists those dealers, and their customers, with a way to begin the review process in the store.  Reviewers can then easily complete and submit their review from a link after leaving the dealership.

The DealerRater In-store Review Solicitation Tool helps dealers that may have review collection devices, such as review kiosks, in place – and allow them to continue collecting reviews in a way that meets DealerRater and Cars.com content policies.

DealerRater Connections Dealers:

How it works:

First, the dealer locates their dealership listing in the tool:

  1. Access the tool here: https://www.dealerrater.com/kiosk (US) or https://www.dealerrater.ca/kiosk (Canada)
  2. Search the dealer name
  3. Select the dealer. A new browser window will open

TIP:  bookmark this page for future customer use

Next, the consumer begins their review:

  1. Consumer chooses an overall star rating, and their preferred method of contact
    1. If email, an email address is required
    2. If text, a mobile phone number is required
  2. Click Start Review
  3. An email or text message will be sent to the consumer, with a link to the dealer's DealerRater review form.
  4. The consumer completes their comments and submits their review.

Note: Consumers who do not submit their review will be sent up to 2 reminder messages over the next 7 days

 

Dealers not enrolled in DealerRater Connections:

How it works:

First, the dealer locates their dealership listing in the tool:

  1. Access the tool here: https://www.dealerrater.com/kiosk (US) or https://www.dealerrater.ca/kiosk (Canada) 
  2. Search the dealer name
  3. Choose the review site: DealerRater or Cars.com (US only)
    1. If Cars.com is selected, the Cars.com dealer detail page URL must be added
