LotShot Error Message Troubleshooting

If you got an error message while trying to send a LotShot request, we’re sorry for the trouble! We log an error report in our system when you get an error message, so we don’t usually need you to let us know about it. A few things can cause these errors, so here are some troubleshooting steps you can take in the meantime to get that LotShot request sent.

  1.  Check your device’s connection
    LotShot requires either cellular data connection or WiFi signal in order to function. If you have weak signal where you took the photo, try sending the LotShot request from a different location with stronger signal (you can send with a photo saved on your device).

  2. Give it a little time
    If a lot of people are sending LotShot requests at the same time, it can overload the system. Try sending the LotShot a little later, in about 10-20 minutes. Just remember to take down the customer’s contact information, and you can use the photo saved on your device from when you first attempted to send the LotShot request.

  3. Get in touch with us!
